Authorised Economic Operator
AEOย certificationย is an internationally recognised ย quality mark indicating that ourย role in the international supply chain is secure, and that ourย customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant. Authorised Economic Operatorsย are subject to less stringent day-to-day customs controls which improves supply chainย efficiency. IFLย was granted AEOย accreditation in 2010.
Post-Brexit the AEO accreditation will enable the company to obtain early approval to comply with the new UK customs regimes being introduced to control the transit of goods to and from the 27 EU countries. This will include the increase in guarantee levels required to facilitate the movement of goods without customs border checks thereby speeding up customersโ supply chains.
FORS Bronze accreditation
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme for compliant, safe and efficient fleet management. It audits operators to ensure that they meet key legal, safety, and environmental standards, from driver training and vehicle safety to fuel efficiency and operational best practice. The award is valid for 12 months to ensure standards remain current.
