As another busy year in freight transport and logistics comes to an end, we’d like to thank our fantastic customers across the West Midlands, UK and Europe for their continued business and support.
In 2022, we’ve been focusing on getting back out there to meet customers, suppliers and transport partners in person. This is something our team has sorely missed over the pandemic. As an independent UK freight forwarder, we’re a people-focused business. We rely on our networks and word-of-mouth recommendations, which have been the foundation of our business for more than 30 years.
Investing in change
This year we continued to invest in transport upgrades to our fleet, which now total £500,000 in the past two years. On one hand, we must adapt and change towards carbon reduction targets in our industry and compliance with new Clean Air Zones. On the other, changing consumer habits and a rise in home deliveries is fuelling a logistics boom.
This has led to us being very busy with both our UK pallet delivery business and our expanded warehouse storage and distribution services. To help customers with this, we’ve published a series of digital information guides around pallet sizes, collection and delivery, and pallet storage. We hope you find them useful. Space is always opening up in our three large warehouses, so get in touch to see how we can help.
Investing in local young people
Part of our business also involves being active on the charity and sponsorship front. No Wolf Runs this year. But we have answered various calls for help that have come through our staff – including sponsoring new training kit for a local under-13 football team and an IFL trophy in an under-18s football fundraising tournament.
