International Forwarding Ltd (IFL) made an impressive first appearance at Truckfest West Midlands last month with the public debut of our brand new Volvo FH Aero – our latest investment in sustainable, high-performance road transport.
This was our first time showing at Truckfest, Europe’s largest trucking festival last month. Trucks of all shapes and sizes were on display, from big rigs to customised and monster trucks, and from vintage vehicles to cutting-edge modern classics that serve the UK freight and transport industry.
IFL’s new FH Aero stood out with its sleek, aerodynamic lines. It was parked up on our reserved plot for a weekend of truck-based events at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on 5-6 July. Lorry drivers, curious punters and industry insiders were invited to look inside the cab of our FH Aero to see what makes Volvo’s latest flagship vehicle so special – from advanced driver tech to fuel-saving features and refined interior detailing.
This new model has been designed with enhanced aerodynamics to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 5% compared with the standard Volvo FH. The cab is 24cm longer and features a more rounded frontal area to improve airflow, all of which helps with our drive to a more sustainable future. It also won the 2025 Green Truck Award for the most fuel-efficient long-haul truck.
Driver Matthew Graham shared his own list of impressions when he was interviewed on-site by Volvo Trucks: “Nice. Comfortable drive. Spacious. Good on the miles per gallon. Smooth. Comfortable air suspension. Better than the old FH!”

More appearances are being planned when work allows. “We’re incredibly proud to debut at Truckfest with this fantastic piece of kit,” said Andy Grubb, IFL’s Sales Director. “Our investment in the FH Aero reflects our commitment to innovation and sustainability in logistics. It’s a truck that not only looks the part but delivers on performance, too.
“So watch this space as there is more to come! We’re just getting started!”
