It was a perfect emergency delivery at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital last week – safe, sound and discharged within just two hours.
We’re proud to announce the arrival of our latest 12-tonne DAF truck – one of two brand new trucks in our latest cargo fleet upgrade. Its very first job was to answer an urgent call for a delivery to the Birmingham Women’s Hospital.
International Forwarding Ltd (IFL) came to the rescue after receiving an urgent request to deliver a consignment of special windows for the hospital. These were picked, packed and ready to roll, all within two hours.
The Women’s Hospital is currently being upgraded with state-of-the-art eco-friendly ground source heat pumps, new triple-glazed windows for better temperature control, and a remodelled façade. The work is set to reduce the energy costs by up to 80 per cent.
