International Forwarding Ltd (IFL) continues to expand and modernise its cargo fleet with two Scania S500 tractor units (worth over £200,000) as well as several new trailers, delivered across spring/summer 2026.
The new additions increase the firm’s UK haulage capacity while also supporting growing services to heavier industry sectors, such as the transport of construction and building materials. The new Scania S500s will give the company greater capacity and flexibility as it continues to develop its customer base and respond to demand across the UK.

S500 specs appeal
The S500 is a heavy-duty long-haul tractor unit featuring a 500 hp engine, a 6×2/2 wheel configuration with a single-wheel lift axle, and a spacious High Roof S-series sleeper cab.
The new units have been selected for their reliability, fuel efficiency and strong performance. They offer excellent driver comfort, making them ideally suited to the demands of long-distance transport. Most importantly, the increased capacity allows us to offer more options to our customers across the UK – and we look forward to putting them to work as we continue to grow the business.
This latest investment includes several straight frame trailers and another big Dek trailer. It builds on recent fleet upgrades – 12 new additions in 2025-6 – including three new Volvo FH Aeros and a double-deck trailer, as well as 12-, 18- and 26-tonners and new trailers.
