This month 12 members of Team IFL donned full body armour for a woodlands skirmish that would see them battle each other for victory across a range of different games and scenarios.
IFL Elite Squad was led by (ex-forces) ‘military commander’ Mark Carolan, class 1 HGV driver and paintball fan. As well as driving for IFL, Mark travels all over the UK attending professional paintballing events.
“We’ve done paintball days out previously,” he said. “It brings people together and it’s nice to be able to do something together outside of work. We could do lots of other things but, for some reason, we just really enjoy shooting at each other!”
The event was organised by warehouse supervisor Grant Brittle, who gathered the troops for a day out at Birmingham’s Delta Force Paintball, on the aptly named Cut Throat Lane.
Director Nigel Parsons, pictured above, joined in the fun, adding that it was “a fantastic opportunity for the staff – from our office, warehouse and transport departments – to have some fun together after working hard all week. Team work makes the dream work!”
