It’s been a busy time for football sponsorships recently as International Forwarding has supported not one but two local teams with some much-needed kit.
Firstly, we donated funds to Hillfield U14 Black towards new home kit – as you can see, their new kit has the IFL logo proudly displayed on the front.
Hillfield AFC is based near Redditch, just off junction 3 of the M42 on Forshaw Heath Lane. Lee Johnson, Transport Manager at our sister company RGF Logistics, took over this relatively new team in October 2020 as under-11s and the team was then placed in Division 8 of the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League for the 2020/21 season
Lee said: “Since then, we’ve been promoted to Division 7 and now for this season to Division 6. We’re now half way through this season and finding it quite challenging but extremely enjoyable. We’ve recently taken delivery of our new home kit generously sponsored by International Forwarding and I think you’ll agree they look the part. I know the kids are looking forward to getting them dirty. Thanks again IFL for your support!”
New shelter for The Bees
IFL has also supported Studley FC ‘The Bees’ Under-7s with a brand new shelter. IFL Sales Director Andy Grubb (pictured left) wanted to help out the team that his younger son plays in. “We like to support the community in the area we work and local children. Grassroots football gives the kids a fantastic opportunity to come together, play as a team and learn new skills.”
Team manager Phil Chesters and assistant manager Daniel Jones added: “Big thank you to Andy for supplying us as Studley Juniors with the subs bench and canopy. We’re delighted – it’ll keep the lads warm and sheltered throughout the season.”
