Last week there was a takeover happening in International Forwarding’s boardroom and we’re happy to report that the deal was very sweet indeed.
We are, of course, talking about the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning held each year since 1990 to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was tough to choose from the array of cakes, bakes and other treats on offer but everyone did their best. Tea and coffee were also served. The staff were all very generous with their donations and we’re happy to report that we have donated £195 to this excellent cause this year.
Andy Grubb, Sales Director, IFL, said: “We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way or another. That’s why IFL is always pleased to give our support to such a worthy cause. We hope this gives a little back to help fund the amazing Macmillan nurses and the medical, practical and emotional support the charity gives to those living with cancer.”
Over £1.2 million has already been raised since Friday and Macmillan hopes to top its £12 million total from last year.
