The NHS turned 75 this week – a milestone celebrated by dock workers at Southampton who took to the quayside to spell out ‘NHS ♥ 75’ in shipping containers.
Staff at DPWorld and Svitzer used over 40 pink and blue containers, and took two hours, to create their fantastic gesture of support for the NHS.
Andy Grubb, IFL Sales Director, praised the dock workers’ tribute, adding: “Never has the NHS been so under pressure or so vital to so many as in recent times. We applaud all the NHS heroes who work so hard for our benefit. We’re also proud that IFL was able to support the NHS during COVID-19 with essential deliveries of PPE and other kit.”
