The staff of International Forwarding are a generous bunch so when a director offered his ‘Salesman of the Month’ prize tablet for a charity raffle, together they dug deep to raise £380 for Cancer Research UK.
Nigel Parsons won Salesman of the Month with Palletways – the palletised freight network of which IFL is a member – and recently received his gift of a brand new Apple iPad 32GB, worth £329. Nigel kindly donated the tablet to be raffled, and office, drivers and warehouse staff all bought tickets at £5 per strip. All proceeds were donated to Cancer Research UK.
The winner was customs clerk Nash Patel (pictured) who said: “Firstly, a big thanks to Nigel for donating his prize to raffle off. And well done everyone in raising the £380 for a very good cause. The new iPad will be very useful for my online shopping!”
