IFL’s new website – what’s in it for you

It’s here! A brand new International Forwarding website with features designed with our customers in mind. The big news is that now you can make bookings, get a quote or find out information much more easily on your phones and other mobile devices.

The redesign is responsive to different viewing devices so there is no more having to scroll around desktop-sized pages or zoom in to read copy – everything is resized according to the device you are using to access us on, whether you’re on a laptop, tablet or smartphone (see our desktop and mobile homepages in the image above). Our goal is to improve your ability to do business with us, and to answer your questions and quote requests as quickly and easily as possible.

We have also moved over to more secure HTTPS pages, which means that all communications between your browser and our website are now encrypted in transit – and not just our Customer login area as previously. Many online users are getting more savvy about how they access the Web and HTTPS provides a more secure experience all-round.


The design remains simple but we have added some dynamic elements, such as video, animations and sliders so the site is a lot more visual and engaging to use.

New menus and overview pages now allow you to see at a glance the full suite of freight and logistics services that International Forwarding offers and also where we deliver to in the Midlands, UK, Europe and beyond.


Freight and logistics is a long-established industry but one that is modernising all the time. At IFL, we understand that we must continue to meet our customers wherever they are: on desktop, mobile or just a phone call away.

Most of you will want to talk directly to our friendly team of freight forwarding experts for a spot quote or to ask about specifics, and you still can – in multiple ways, to suit your communications, whatever time zone you are in. We always aim to get back to you within 15 minutes (within our UK office hours), and we pride ourselves on the human element – we don’t use automated telephone systems but you can use our pop-up ‘Get a quote’ form if you’re too busy to call.

Once you’ve made your booking, you are supported by up-to-date technology and vehicle GPS tracking, offering full track-and-trace and even ETAs for UK pallet delivery.
