This month we are celebrating a double win: 15 years as a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest pallet network – we sent our first truck into Palletways on 5 June 2002 – and it has just been announced that International Forwarding Ltd (IFL) has been awarded Platinum status as one of the network’s top performers.
The award is the highest given by Palletways in recognition of high standards of service and commitment to fellow network members and the Palletways network. Judging criteria includes outstanding performance, operational excellence and first-class levels of service for customers.
Rob Pike, Managing Director, International Forwarding Ltd, collected the award at Palletways’ 2017 Regional Operations Conference on 6 June. He is pictured above with a team from Palletways (from l-r): Michelle Naylor (Regional General Manager – Midlands), Dave Walmsley (UK MD) and Barry Byers (UK Network Director).
He said: “We are delighted to have been awarded Platinum status within the Palletways network. It is both a testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff, and it tells our customers that they can expect a first-class pallet delivery service from IFL. Our motto is ‘Pride in performance’ – and we couldn’t be prouder.”
International Forwarding joined Palletways distribution network in June 2002 and now collects and delivers consignments across 23 post codes in Birmingham and the West Midlands, including Coleshill, Garretts Green, Solihull, Shirley, Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Customers are able to access both a UK-wide overnight delivery service and Palletways Europe, which has more than 300 depots across Europe. Consignments can be booked and tracked online with proofs of delivery retrieved electronically and technical innovation has now also brought an estimated time of arrival (ETA) within reach – an industry-first.
