Christmas
Our last guaranteed departures for Austria, France, Germany, Italy Spain and Portugal will be Friday 18 December however, please note, deliveries for some areas of these countries would not be guaranteed before Christmas. If you require guaranteed deliveries before Xmas, goods would need to depart Tuesday 15 December.
For our popular Swiss export trailer service, the last departure from the UK will be Monday 21 December, and from Switzerland to UK: Friday 18 December.
New Year
With regards to our European trailer departures for the New Year, our first trailers running in January 2016 will be Friday 8 January, as 6 January is a holiday throughout Europe.

Please note the following with regards to our schedule for our Palletways UK network.
- Monday 21 December Normal collections and deliveries
- Tuesday 22 December Normal collections and deliveries
- Wednesday 23 December Normal collections and deliveries. Last normal trunking
- Thursday 24 December Morning deliveries only, apart from Scotland and Ireland. No freight will be trunked until 29 December
- Friday 25 December Closed
- Saturday 26 December Closed, no Saturday deliveries
- Sunday 27 December Closed
- Monday 28 December Closed, no deliveries
- Tuesday 29 December Normal collections and deliveries, apart from Scotland and Ireland
- Wednesday 30 December Normal collections and deliveries, apart from Scotland and Ireland. Any freight for delivery Saturday 2 January must be advised and agreed by 4.30pm latest 30 December
- Thursday 31 December Morning deliveries only, apart from Scotland and Ireland. No freight will be trunked until 4 January
- Friday 1 January Closed
- Saturday 2 January Only freight pre-arranged from 30 December, except Scotland and Ireland
- Sunday 3 January Closed
- Monday 4 January Normal collection and delivery, except Scotland and Ireland
- Tuesday 5 January Normal collection and deliveries all areas
Please can you ensure that from the 23 December all freight is transmitted by 4.30pm as all delivery depots will have to be pre-alerted.
