We were pleased to be recognised by Palletways for increasing our palletised road freight network and business in Europe last year.
In its Spring 2014 newsletter, Network News, Palletways recognised three outstanding contributions to sales in the past year: Hastings Freight, Palletways Birmingham, and International Forwarding Ltd (IFL) for ‘Highest international growth in 2013’.
They said:
“International Forwarding has shown outstanding dedication to developing their international business, and are now recognised as European specialists. Their growth has coincided with the product relaunch in early 2013 and the subsequent opening of the new services to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The opportunity for growth was there and they have seized upon these new opportunities.”
International Forwarding became a member of the leading pallet network Palletways in 2003 and has since become a platinum member and one of the highest volume depots within the membership.
“With our range of services, we are able to distribute freight from the UK to Europe with ease. Our company has evolved into a truly pan-European operation with daily trailer services operating in all the major economic centres throughout Europe,” says Rob Pike, IFL’s managing director.
“Fast, streamlined cargo forwarding and a personal approach to customer service are also behind our 2013 growth story,” added sales director Nigel Parsons. “For example, our popular daily UK-Switzerland express service often allows us to provide a door-to-door road freight solution at almost the same speed as an air freight shipment.”
