We’d like to welcome the latest member of the International Forwarding road freight transport team: a brand new Volvo FH 460 6×2 Globetrotter tractor unit. (If only we named our vehicles Dave or something.)
This will help us upgrade our current road freight transport fleet to maintain the highest levels of reliability to our customer base. It’s also the greenest option available to help us reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Some vital statistics for truck geeks:
- 460hp, 2300Nm of torque with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) and EGR (exhaust gas recirculation).
- 12 speed I-shift gearbox to keep driver fatigue to a minimum while selecting the most economical gearing itself.
- Fitted with Bridgestone 315/70R22.5 tyres to keep rolling resistance to a minimum.
