As an international freight forwarder, we have our own customs clearance services and can advise our customers on all important customs-related matters.
In August new notices have been issued relating to the following:
- New procedures for motor vehicle import entries
- Anti-dumping duties on imported Chinese ceramics
- Systems for valuation of imported fruit and vegetables
Dual use goods
These are goods which can have both commercial and military use and may require export licenses. International Forwarding will be pleased to give guidance on the relevant customs procedures. We are approved by HM Revenue & Customs as an Approved Economic Operator (AEO) and can give you advice and assistance relating to any of the above notices and any other customs matters.
Customs clearance services
We offer expert high-quality clearance services from a dedicated office at Dover Sea Port. We also offer these services through the majority of UK sea ports including Southampton, Tilbury and Purfleet. Our clearance services are expertly managed by Steve Lambrou at our Dover Clearance Office. We are able to provide expert advice on all customs clearance matters which makes it easier for you to decide how your goods will be shipped.
We recently extended our services to include other ports which means that we can offer our customers a variety of options for exporting your goods overseas. We are also able to offer air cargo distribution services from all the UK major airports too. The International Forwarding website has a wealth of information about these services so that our customers can make an informed choice.
